I joined the Khoshbouei lab on June 9th, 2023. My research project focuses on developing a novel enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to quantify dopamine transporter (DAT), testing the hypothesis that DAT has a role in the regulation of immunological function. I use a model of macrophage cell cultures and immunohistochemistry in my approach to address this hypothesis.
